Led by Tom Cruise, Jack Reacher will be hitting the big screen in just over a month, opening in the same slot as Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol was given last year, which went on to become a huge success.
We saw the first full-length trailer last month, and were treated to the first TV spots last week (one of which has curiously since been pulled), and now Paramount have released a new thirty-second spot, teasing more action from the upcoming blockbuster.
“When a gunman takes five lives with six shots, all evidence points to the suspect in custody. On interrogation, the suspect offers up a single note: “Get Jack Reacher!” So begins an extraordinary chase for the truth, pitting Jack Reacher against an unexpected enemy, with a skill for violence and a secret to keep.”
Starring alongside Cruise will be an excellent cast, headed up by Rosamund Pike, Richard Jenkins, David Oyelowo, Robert Duvall, and Werner Herzog.
Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects) is at the helm, directing from his own script, having adapted the original novel, One Shot, by Lee Child.
Jack Reacher will be hitting US theatres on 21st December, just in time for Christmas. Here in the UK, it will be landing just a few days later, for a 26th December / Boxing Day release. For now, here’s the latest TV spot to keep your anticipation on high.
