Sacha Gervasi’s Hitchcock will be arriving in its limited release in the US next Friday, and with some promising early reviews and some strong buzz as we head into awards season, things are looking good for the Anthony Hopkins-led drama.

The first trailer for the film landed last month, giving us a great impression of what looks to be another fine performance from Hopkins, and now a new international poster for the film has made its way online.

“HITCHCOCK is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock, and his wife and partner Alma Reville. The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie PSYCHO.”

Hopkins is joined by an all-star cast, headed up by Helen Mirren playing his wife, Alma Reville; Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh; Jessica Biel as Vera Miles; Toni Collette as Peggy Robertson; and James D’Arcy as Anthony Perkins.

Gervasi (Anvil: The Story of Anvil) is making his feature debut behind the camera, directing from a script by John J. McLaughlin (Black Swan), adapting the original book by Stephen Rebello.

Hitchcock will be given a limited release in the US next Friday, 23rd November, in the height of the awards season. It will then head to the UK a little later for an 8th February release. For now, here’s the new international poster, which you can click through to enlarge.
